Unit Citations

Bio

Graduated from the US Military Academy in 1964 and commissioned in the infantry. Volunteered for Vietnam service and served a tour with the First Infantry Division. Returned to command a rifle company in the 101st Airborne Division--a year later deployed that company to Vietnam. Served as S3 and XO of a mechanized infantry battalion in Germany, then as a joint war planner for Europe and the Middle East. Asst PMS, Army ROTC, Stanford U, and PMS, University of Tampa. Army advisor to the Michigan Army National Guard. Masters degrees in Political Science (UTEP) and Education-Administration (Stanford).
